What is "Garage Nights"?

A typical garage night idea starts with a member wanting to upgrade, repair or maybe even just detail their prized Mustang or Classic Ford. Once we formulate a plan of where, when and how, several interested members will show up at the designated location on the day and time chosen. Everyone can help, and help can consist of technical expertise, providing the garage or shop, mechanical aptitude, specialty tools, offering to provide snacks or food, or just plain old moral support. Once we've all gathered and come up with a plan of attack, we all get busy with our appointed tasks. Within minutes, hours or maybe even days our goal is accomplished and the member has not only learned a new set of skills, but was able to learn a little more about how their car works, how and why it was designed the way it was, and has bonded just a little more with a group of people who share the same passion and love for the hot rod hobby.

Do you have something you would like to learn more about? Do you have a project you need to work on but need some help or more expertise? Bring your idea up at the next club meeting or email a club officer and let them know. If you want to do it, changes are someone else does too!
